When the children come into the lab, they sit down on the floor, so I can explain to them what we'll be doing 
for class without them being distracted by the computers(or dust or hair...)
One particular day, a little boy got his head stuck, yes, stuck, in a chair!!! So, from time to time, I tell the children who are looking mighty fidgety, about "Chair Head Boy", who still, to this day, wanders the school hallways with a chair stuck on his head. The good thing is, he never has to look far to find a place to sit, does he?? However, bath and bedtime are a bit of a struggle!
A child asked me, "Well, why didnt you cut it off?"... Others were horrified, "what, his head???"
All in a days work!

Perhaps you can create a story about Wire Fire Girl or something similar. I get so disgusted when I see the children putting the cords from the headphone in their mouths. - and that is fifth and sixth graders! YUCK!!
