My friend and child safety advocate, Megan at Imaginif, AND Rose DesRochers recommended this blog for the Community Blogger Award.

The creator of this award, Cellobella, wanted to make an extra special award that reaches out and makes the blogger community a better one.
Thanks!
The lovely WalksFarWoman has made a most difficult and painful week a bit brighter, by giving me the prestigious Nice Matters Award!
This lovely award, started over at Bella Enchanted, is awarded to those that are just nice people, good blog friends and those that inspire good feelings and inspiration!
Ev Nucci--my favorite wacky mom. Ev is not only the brightest crayon in the box, but she is the funniest person around! One of those rare, special people who has that "it" factor! (I said "it")....
My girl, LJW, exudes niceness, kindness and all that is sweet. She is the nicest person I have never met!
Rose DesRochers World Outside my Window is a busy Canadian mom who likes to write and blog. A wonderfully kind gal!
Deborah from Life in the Fastlane, a very busy gal, who takes the time out of her day, to send me news stories that I may be interested in! I appreciate her soo much!
Imaginif is on a crusade to make the world a nicer place! Keeping all children safer, worldwide, is her goal. Not only is she a caring person, she is simply a HOOT!
From WalksFarWoman:
Have you had a kindness shown?
Pass it on;
‘Twas not given for thee alone,
Pass it on;
Let it travel down the years,
Let it wipe another’s tears,
‘Til in Heaven the deed appears -
Pass it on.
~Henry Burton
A great big thank you to Tracee Sioux for honoring this website with the Inspirational Bloggers Award!!
THANKS, Tracee!!!
My friend Lyn, from It's A Womans World, designed and created several awards recently, one of them being the Champagne award. Those who are given the champagne awards are class acts, inspired others, touched us, helped us, and cared for us, with no ulterior motives.
Thank you so much, Lyn!!! Thank you for thinking of this blog!!
In honor of those bloggers who are extraordinarily special, I wanted to give recognition to those who go "above and beyond".
The MAKING A DIFFERENCE, or M.A.D. Badge, will be given to those who truly make a difference; by being extraordinarily helpful, kind, compassionate, or passionate about a particular cause or effort. They truly are making a difference in one person's life, or many.
This will not be handed out to just anyone...Just to those who Make A Difference, one blogging at a time.
And the MAD BADGE Award goes to:......
ED Survivor Club (Eating Disorder)
4 The Accidental Environmentalist
TARE Project-Threat Assessment and Response Canada
If you would like to nominate someone for this honor, please let me know. One or more of the following criteria must be met in order to be a M.A.D. Badge recipient:
WalksfarWoman and The Impatient Blogger
bestowed the Schmoozer Award on this blog. Of course, at my old age, I had to do a double-take. Did she they give me the "looser" award. Or is it the boozer award? No, its a Schmoozer. Thank you, WalksFarWoman and The Impatient Blogger!!!
The Schmoozer Awards were started by Things by Mike and Danielle, in order to recognize those bloggers who exhibit strong Schmoozing skills. Heaven knows, I've got that skill!
I've met some extraordinary people here online, and I mean that sincerely! I am, however, going to tag 5 people I have never tagged before, although my bud, Ev Nucci, should be given the Queen of Schmooze Award!!
Mercy Momma--what a darling site!!! Just stumbled on it. Gosh, I miss my babies....
The Pond-another great site, written by Karen. She is just a little fish in a great big pond!
Table for Five-written by Elizabeth, a busy mother of 3. She just turned 40-and says that is "middle aged". Gosh, what does that make me?
A Week in the Life of a Redhead-Catherine, the red-head girl who is a buy, single mom who says "Sometimes dogs are better than men, because there is one less set of socks to match " !!
And finally, UNG, a funny guy who, despite his "name", is not naked nor is he ugly. Paranoid perhaps, but that's another story!! (He has to be "careful in case the police are watching him")
Congrat's, you Schmoozer's. Now, bestow this prestigious award on 5 of your most deserving fellow bloggers, mentioning of course, who gave you the award and the origin of it.
This was an awesome surprise...From ChristyZ:
The Charity Blogger Award
"For those who use blogging to help others and to raise awareness of those in need. Those who post missing persons posters, charity links, or who are involved in fund raising campaigns, or who make posts about charitable causes. Those who care enough to help others deserve this award. "

My girl, the ever-famous Ev Nucci, handed down the Rockin' Girls BLogger Award!! I told her she must be confused with the "Rockin' Chair Girl" Award! Hmm....
If you haven't visited Ev, you MUST! Even her name cracks me up! She is a Hoot, in fact, the QUEEN of the Hooters(does that sound right?) Anywho, Ev actually embellished this lil badge!! Awww...
Regardless, this "award" is handed down to gals you think are deservin'. It was originally started by Ms Roberta Ferguson . Roberta started off with a plain pink badge, and Ms. Nucci added photos to the girls she chose.
So, take the badge, give credit to Roberta, then pick the rockin' girls of your choice!
There are so many fantastic women that I've "met" online, it is so hard to choose. Many have already been "rocked"...
Tracee Sioux's So Sioux Me has an awesome blog, where her passion is the empowerment of girls!! Not to mention the fact that she gave a huge shout out to this blog!! I LOVE her name!!
Mrs Flipphead's Den of Wolves blog, a loyal I.S. reader, a busy mom and the only gal in her household.
WalksFarWoman's Kissing the Dogwood Blog, an inspirational girl who you must visit!!
The Emancipation of a Drama Queen is a visually lovely site. Heres to you, from one queen to another!
EJ Cooksey's Homeschooling in the Ozarks, a stay at home mom who's been happily married for 20+years.
Anna's Box 1715 blog, a frequent reader from our neighbors in Canada.
Laura, from ThatGrrl, another Canadian neighbor. Love the look of her site!
Peace out girls, and ROCK ON!
