The lovely WalksFarWoman has made a most difficult and painful week a bit brighter, by giving me the prestigious Nice Matters Award!

This lovely award, started over at Bella Enchanted, is awarded to those that are just nice people, good blog friends and those that inspire good feelings and inspiration!

Ev Nucci--my favorite wacky mom. Ev is not only the brightest crayon in the box, but she is the funniest person around! One of those rare, special people who has that "it" factor! (I said "it")....

My girl, LJW, exudes niceness, kindness and all that is sweet. She is the nicest person I have never met!

Rose DesRochers World Outside my Window is a busy Canadian mom who likes to write and blog. A wonderfully kind gal!

Deborah from Life in the Fastlane, a very busy gal, who takes the time out of her day, to send me news stories that I may be interested in! I appreciate her soo much!

Imaginif is on a crusade to make the world a nicer place! Keeping all children safer, worldwide, is her goal. Not only is she a caring person, she is simply a HOOT!

WalksfarWoman and The Impatient Blogger bestowed the Schmoozer Award on this blog. Of course, at my old age, I had to do a double-take. Did ~~she~~ they give me the "looser" award. Or is it the boozer award? No, its a Schmoozer. Thank you, WalksFarWoman and The Impatient Blogger!!!

The Schmoozer Awards were started by Things by Mike and Danielle, in order to recognize those bloggers who exhibit strong Schmoozing skills. Heaven knows, I've got that skill!

Truth Dancerhe beautiful Jennifer, also known as Truth Dancer, is a regular reader and strong supporter of Internet Safety-for Our Children's Sake.

My girl, the ever-famous Ev Nucci, handed down the Rockin' Girls BLogger Award!! I told her she must be confused with the "Rockin' Chair Girl" Award! Hmm....

If you haven't visited Ev, you MUST! Even her name cracks me up! She is a Hoot, in fact, the QUEEN of the Hooters(does that sound right?) Anywho, Ev actually embellished this lil badge!! Awww...

Regardless, this "award" is handed down to gals you think are deservin'. It was originally started by Ms Roberta Ferguson . Roberta started off with a plain pink badge, and Ms. Nucci added photos to the girls she chose.

So, take the badge, give credit to Roberta, then pick the rockin' girls of your choice!

There are so many fantastic women that I've "met" online, it is so hard to choose. Many have already been "rocked"...

Keeping all children safer online, is the message of this website. It's about safety, knowledge and awareness. Supporting our children, and each other.

A wonderful, hard-working woman, Megan Bayliss, is on a crusade. She just launched an exceptional website, Imaginif. Not only is it informative, it is beautifully done. Imaginif is a family effort, working closely with her accountant husband and her children. Megan, a social worker, hopes Imaginif will be the largest child protection conversation in the WORLD! Just "Imaginif" there was no need for sites such as Megan's or mine?

This Meme BITSS is about recognizing those other bloggers who support one another, and help keep others safe. If you had to choose 5 people who you would confide in, warn or protect online, who would they be?

For me, the two most instrumental women I've met online, are Ev Nucci and Lyn. I would love to be able to meet them, to hang out with them, and to call them my friends and confidants.

Ev Nucci, a spunky, hard-working, hilarious, outspoken, successful career woman who has the endearing ability to laugh at herself on a ~~daily~~ hourly basis. She has a beautiful family, and has one son who has had some serious medical issues since birth. She has been instrumental in helping this website get to the #1 Bloggers Choice Award Position. She has several websites, but my favorite is Wacky Mom's Murphy's Law. If you want to laugh, RUN over to her blog and bookmark it! We look out for one another and I simply adore her!
Lyn, a kind, compassionate, caring, selfless, beautiful soul. Lyn is a mother, writer and self-employed woman. She, like Ev Nucci, has been an incredible help to me. She also has several blogs, but It's A Woman's World is special to me. She often recognizes other women, giving them much blogosphere exposure. I would like to recognize her. She deserves it! I lean on her ~~often~~ frequently and depend on her daily.
Jennifer, another beautiful woman who inspires me. She is many things, but is a yoga instructor and a mental health therapist(which explains why I value her so much!!) She is the calm, I am the storm!! Her blogs help those of us who want and need loving, beautiful relationships.
Tam, from Mommy's Getaway, is a busy mom, who not only blogs, but has a LIVE internet radio show as well!! A valuable support resource for moms indeed!

Finally,Izzy Neis, another busy gal who is a published writer, and someone who has worked with children for over 15 years. She was one of the very first people I "met" online. She frequently discusses social networking issues that impact younger children.
